Common questions

Is the invoice generator really free and does it need signup?

Yes. Anyone can create and download an invoice PDF for free without creating an account. Signing in is optional and only needed if you want to save invoices to your account. Free downloads carry a small "generated free using pdfcroppers.com" line at the bottom of the invoice; premium users get invoices without it.

Does it calculate GST automatically?

Yes. Set your state and the place of supply. When both are the same the tax is split into CGST and SGST; when they differ IGST is applied. You can also force CGST+SGST, IGST or no tax, and choose a GST rate (0 to 28 percent) per line item.

Can I add my logo and change the design?

Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG logo, pick one of five designs and any accent colour. You can switch designs at any time without losing the details you have typed.

What format is the download?

A single A4 PDF named after the invoice number, ready to print or email. You can also use Print for a browser print dialog.

Is my data stored on the server?
