Extract PDF pages: pull selected pages into a new file

Extract PDF pages copies the pages you choose into a new PDF and leaves the rest out. It runs in your browser, so the file stays on your device. Here is how it works and when a seller reaches for it.

Pull out only the pages you need.

Think of it as the opposite of deleting. Instead of listing what to remove, you list what to keep. When you need three pages from a file of ninety, that is much less typing. The tool is free and needs no sign-in.

Try it with your own fileFree to use. No sign-in needed.

What Extract PDF pages does

You type the pages to keep and the tool builds a new PDF with only those pages. The order you type is the order you get, so the tool also works as a simple way to rearrange pages.

  • Pages to keep: single pages and ranges, for example 1, 3-5.
  • Pages follow the order you type. Typing 5, 1 puts page 5 first.
  • Several files at once: the same pages are taken from every file you add.
  • Combine results into one PDF: the extracted pages from all files go into a single file.
  • Pages are extracted in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

How to use it

Find the page numbers you need in a PDF viewer, then do the following.

  • Open Extract PDF pages and choose your file, or drop it on the page.
  • In Pages to keep, type the pages in the order you want them, for example 1, 3-5.
  • Tick Combine results into one PDF if you added several files and want one output.
  • Press Extract pages.
  • Download the new PDF with only those pages.

How it helps sellers

A buyer asks for an invoice copy. It sits on page 48 of the monthly invoice file. Type 48, press the button, and you have a one-page PDF to send. The buyer gets their invoice and nobody else's details.

The same goes for documents you send outside the business. A marketplace form or your CA may need only the first page of a certificate or two pages of a bank statement. Extract those pages and keep the rest private.

  • Single label reprint: pull the one label that tore or smudged and print it again on the 4x6 thermal printer.
  • Invoice copies: take one buyer's invoice out of a bulk invoice file.
  • Sending to a CA: share only the pages of a statement or return that were asked for.
  • Catalogue uploads: keep the size chart or specification page from a supplier's brochure.
  • Reordering: type the pages in a new order to move a summary page to the front.

Tips for a clean result

Extraction follows what you type exactly, so check the list once before you press the button.

  • Page numbers mean the position in the file, not the number printed on the page. Check them in a viewer.
  • To pick the same page from many files of the same layout, add them together and combine the results.
  • If you want most of the file and only a few pages gone, Delete PDF pages is faster.

Common questions

Can I change the page order?

Yes. Pages are extracted in the order you type them, so 5, 1 puts page 5 first.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Pages are extracted in your browser.

How is this different from Split PDF?

Split PDF cuts a file into several parts. Extract PDF pages makes one new file from the pages you list, in the order you list them.
