Marketplace downloads often arrive as one long PDF: a full day of labels, a month of invoices, a bulk report. You rarely need all of it at once. Splitting lets you print, hand over or send only the part that matters. The tool is free and needs no sign-in.
What Split PDF does
Split PDF has two modes. With Page ranges you type ranges such as 1-3, 4-6, 7 and each range becomes its own PDF. With Every page, each page of the file becomes its own PDF.
- Split by page ranges that you type, or split every page into a separate file.
- Combine results into one PDF: the parts you chose are placed in a single file instead of separate ones.
- Add more than one PDF. The same split is applied to each file.
- Download each part on its own, or all parts together as a zip.
- Splitting happens in your browser. The file never leaves your device.
How to use it
Check the page numbers you need in the file first, then follow these steps.
- Open Split PDF and choose your file, or drop it on the page.
- Under Split by, pick Page ranges or Every page.
- For ranges, type them with commas between, for example 1-3, 4-6, 7.
- Tick Combine results into one PDF only if you want the parts in a single file.
- Press Split PDF.
- Download each part, or all of them as a zip.
How it helps sellers
A label PDF with two hundred pages is hard to share between packers. Split it into ranges and give each packer a file of their own. If the printer stops halfway, split off the pages that are left and print only those, instead of wasting labels on a full reprint.
Invoices work the same way. When a buyer or your CA asks for one invoice, you do not want to send the whole month. If each invoice sits on one page, Every page gives you one PDF per invoice. If not, type the range that holds it.
- Daily dispatch: split a large label file into one range per packer or packing table.
- Reprints: cut out the pages that did not print and send only those to the 4x6 thermal printer.
- Buyer requests: get a single invoice as its own PDF, ready to attach to a message.
- GST paperwork: divide a long report into monthly or quarterly parts before it goes to your CA.
- Size limits: break a heavy file into smaller parts when an upload form or email rejects it.
Tips for a clean result
Small checks before you split save a second attempt.
- A range can be a single page. Typing 7 on its own gives a one-page PDF.
- With Every page on a long file, download the zip instead of clicking each part.
- Use ranges together with Combine results when you want one file that holds only the chosen pages.
- Keep the original download until the parts are printed or sent.
