Sideways pages usually come from scanners and phone cameras, and sometimes from a label download in landscape layout. They are hard to read on screen and can print the wrong way. One rotation fixes the file for good. The tool is free and needs no sign-in.
What Rotate PDF does
The tool changes the direction of the pages and saves the result as a new PDF. The content of each page stays the same. Only the way it faces changes.
- Three rotations: Right 90 degrees, 180 degrees, Left 90 degrees.
- Pages: type the pages to rotate, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10, or leave the box empty for all pages.
- Several files at once, with the same rotation applied to each.
- Combine results into one PDF when you want the rotated files joined.
- Rotation happens in your browser. The file never leaves your device.
How to use it
Look at the file first and note which pages face the wrong way and in which direction.
- Open Rotate PDF and choose your file, or drop it on the page.
- Under Rotate, pick Right 90 degrees, 180 degrees or Left 90 degrees.
- Type the pages to turn, or leave the Pages box empty to turn them all.
- Press Rotate PDF.
- Download the rotated file and check it once in a viewer.
How it helps sellers
Seller onboarding and account changes often need scanned papers: a GST certificate, a cancelled cheque, an address proof. A scan that lies on its side makes the person reviewing it tilt their head or send it back. Turn the pages upright before you upload the file.
Printing is the other case. If a label or invoice PDF opens sideways, you can turn it in the file itself, so you are not changing printer settings for every job. Your packers open the file and print it as it is.
- Scanned documents: straighten certificates and ID copies before sending them to a marketplace or a bank.
- GST paperwork: fix the few upside down pages in a scanned bundle before it goes to your CA.
- Labels: turn a landscape label file before it goes to the 4x6 thermal printer.
- Mixed files: rotate only the pages that need it and leave the rest as they are.
Tips for a clean result
Rotation is simple, but the direction is easy to get wrong on the first try.
- If the top of the page points to the left, choose Right 90 degrees. If it points to the right, choose Left 90 degrees.
- Use 180 degrees for pages that were fed into the scanner upside down.
- When pages need different rotations, run the tool once for each direction with its own page list.
- Print one page as a test before you print a full label batch.
Common questions
Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes. Type the pages to rotate, for example 2, 5-7, and the rest stay as they are.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Rotation happens in your browser.
What happens if I leave the Pages box empty?
Every page in the file is rotated by the angle you picked.
