This guide walks through the designs, the tax settings and the save options. Note that the tool makes a document from what you type. It does not check your details, so ask your CA what your invoices must contain.
What GST invoice generator does
There are five designs: Classic, Modern, Minimal, Bold and Elegant. You can set an accent colour and upload a logo. The invoice has your business details with GSTIN, invoice number, date, due date, reference, the customer block, and item rows with HSN/SAC, quantity, unit, rate and a GST rate for each item.
The Tax and totals panel has your state, the place of supply and the tax mode. In Auto, the same state on both sides shows CGST and SGST, and different states show IGST. You can also pick CGST + SGST, IGST or No tax yourself.
- Discount as a percentage or an amount, and a shipping or other charges line.
- Switches for round off, amount in words, ship-to address, payment details, notes and signature.
- Payment details: bank name, account name and number, IFSC and UPI ID.
- Currency: INR, USD, EUR, GBP or AED.
- Download PDF and Print buttons. The PDF is A4 and named after the invoice number.
How to use it
Everything you type is auto-saved in your browser, so you can continue later on the same device.
- Pick a design and a colour, and upload your logo.
- Click the business fields on the invoice and type your name, address, GSTIN, phone and email.
- Fill in the customer under Bill to, and set your state and the place of supply.
- Add items with HSN, quantity and rate, and choose the GST rate for each row.
- Set discount and charges if any, then press Download PDF or Print.
- Press New for the next invoice. Your business details stay and the number goes up by one.
How it helps sellers
Many sellers also sell outside the marketplace: a wholesale order on WhatsApp, a repeat customer who pays by UPI. Those sales need an invoice you make yourself.
Here your business and bank details are typed once and kept. The next invoice needs only the customer and the items. If you sign in with Google, Save stores invoices in your account and the Saved list reopens them from any device.
- Direct and wholesale orders: an invoice PDF to send on WhatsApp or email, with payment details on it.
- GST paperwork: download each invoice as a PDF and share the month's files with your CA.
- Inter-state sales: the place of supply is printed and the tax lines switch between CGST + SGST and IGST.
Tips for a clean result
Empty fields are left out of the PDF, so you do not need to delete what you do not use.
- Read the GSTIN, HSN codes and GST rates once more before downloading. The tool prints them as typed.
- Keep one number pattern, such as INV-0001, so New can count up correctly.
- Sign in and press Save for invoices you may need again. Browser auto-save stays on that device only.
- Accounts without Premium get a small PDFCroppers credit line at the bottom of the invoice.
Common questions
Do I need to sign in to make an invoice?
No. Typing, Print and Download PDF work without an account. Sign-in with Google is needed only for Save and the Saved list.
Does the tool check that my invoice meets GST rules?
No. It lays out and totals the details you type. It does not verify GSTIN, HSN codes or tax rates. Please confirm the required format with your CA.
Can I add more than one item?
Yes. Press Add item for each new row. Every row has its own GST rate.
