This is the simplest of the marketplace tools on PDFCroppers. It has one setting, Merge Files. There are no sorting, invoice or picklist options to learn. This guide explains what the tool does with your file and how to fit it into your dispatch routine.
What LimeRoad label crop does
You upload the PDF and the tool does three things. With only one setting, the result is the same every time, which is useful when different people in your team print labels.
- Removes the extra pages, so you print labels only.
- Crops each label to print size.
- Merge Files: when you upload several PDFs, turn this on to get one combined PDF.
How to use it
You can add your files and see the tool before you create an account.
- Download the label PDF from your LimeRoad seller panel.
- Open LimeRoad label crop and add the PDF. Add more files if you have them.
- Turn on Merge Files if you want one output file.
- Press the crop button. Sign in with Google in one click if asked. Your files stay in place.
- Open the cropped PDF from the Processed files list and print it.
How it helps LimeRoad sellers
The label PDF from a marketplace is made for a full page, not for a label printer. If you print it as it is, you cut each label out with scissors and throw the rest of the sheet away. A cropped file prints one label per sticker on a thermal printer, with no cutting.
Merge Files matters when you download labels more than once a day. You add the morning and afternoon PDFs together and send one file to the printer, so you do not open and print each file on its own.
- Daily dispatch: labels are ready to print in one step.
- Less waste: extra pages are not printed.
- Several downloads in a day: one merged file for one print job.
- Shared computers: nothing to configure, so any team member gets the same output.
Tips for a clean result
A few habits keep the output right.
- Upload the PDF as downloaded. Do not scan it or edit it first.
- Processed files are listed for the last 30 minutes, so download the result soon after it is ready.
- If you sell on other marketplaces too, use the tool made for that marketplace. Each one reads its own label layout.
